Privacy and removal contact

For questions about Back to Kathmandu newsletter data, or to request access or removal, contact Johann Roduit at johann@conexkt.world.

What we store and why

With your consent, we store your email address, selected language, signup source, signup time and consent time to register you for occasional Back to Kathmandu project news. New registrations also store the consent-notice version and a hashed unsubscribe token. The database assigns an internal identifier.

Registration data is stored in the project’s Cloudflare D1 database. It is used for project updates, research stories, production notes, and invitations to screenings and installations.

Confirmation and removal

Registration is confirmed on this website. No confirmation email is sent. Save the unsubscribe link shown after a new registration. The link only removes your registration after you confirm on its page.

If your address was already registered, we keep its original record and do not issue a new unsubscribe link to someone entering that address. If you have lost your link, registered before these links were introduced, or prefer email, request removal at johann@conexkt.world.

We retain your active registration until you unsubscribe or request removal. Unsubscribing deletes the registration and its associated unsubscribe token from the active database. Hosting-provider recovery copies and operational logs follow the provider’s applicable processes.

Your browser

The site stores your chosen language and appearance in your browser. These preferences are separate from your newsletter registration. The unsubscribe link contains a private removal token; keep it private.

Consent notice version: 19 October 2026.
